In the early days of the quarantine period, I read various articles about home-working, and tips on surviving lockdown.

At least one of the articles about home-working talked of putting on your work-clothes/make-up/high heels; I forget who wrote it or said it, or where I read it. Now, admittedly, my workplace has a casual dress-code anyway, but if I’m working from home, I’m going to be even more casually dressed. Especially if there isn’t any chance of me needing to dash out at lunchtime to run an errand.

Fortunately, English is a language well-provided with descriptive words for the lazily dressed, and several came up in the months before my office was dispersed.
